Leading with Foresight & Impact develops the foundational leadership capabilities expected of Microsoft leaders. Leaders must apply a growth mindset to decision-making, maintain disciplined focus on customer and organizational outcomes, and translate strategic intent into effective execution. This course strengthens values-based decision-making grounded in Microsoft’s leadership ethos—growth mindset, customer impact, One Microsoft collaboration, and accountability for outcomes. You will examine how to prioritize competing demands, evaluate leadership behaviors, and intervene when execution drifts from intent. Rather than focusing on theory, the course emphasizes observable leadership practice. Through realistic scenarios, you will apply prioritization frameworks, align strategy to roadmap, and assess whether outcomes reflect stated values. By the end of this course, you will be able to demonstrate leadership discipline in action—making trade-offs visible, maintaining strategic alignment, and reinforcing accountability in complex organizational contexts.
