Switching IPv6 WAN
By External Provider
About this course
This course covers the advanced LAN technologies and wide-area network services that enterprise networks are built on. Covering approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes of expert instruction across Ethernet switching, VLANs, spanning tree, IPv6, and WAN connectivity options, learners develop the skills to build and connect enterprise network segments. Learners benefit by understanding how managed switches operate, how VLANs segment networks for security and performance, how IPv6 is deployed alongside IPv4, and how organizations connect to the Internet and remote sites through WAN technologies. online labs reinforce VLAN configuration and IPv6 addressing tasks. By the end of this course, learners will be able to configure managed switches, implement VLANs, deploy IPv6 addressing, and explain WAN connectivity options.
What you will learn
- How to configure managed switches with VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocol to segment and optimize LAN traffic
- How to implement IPv6 addressing including static, SLAAC, and DHCPv6 configuration alongside existing IPv4 infrastructure
- How to explain WAN technologies and connectivity options including MPLS, SD-WAN, broadband, and cellular for enterprise use cases
