About this course

This is a self-paced lab that takes place in the Google Cloud console. In this lab, you create a Bigtable instance and table and then use a Dataflow template to populate the table from pre-generated data files on Cloud Storage.

What you will learn

  • Create a Bigtable instance and a Bigtable table with column families.
  • Use a Dataflow template to load SequenceFile files from Cloud Storage into Bigtable. Verify the data loaded into Bigtable.
  • Delete the Bigtable table and instance.
